Winfred Kirksey, Partner
Winfred has spent his entire career focused on the needs of his clients and partners. He understands the value of a collaborative approach to problem solving and idea generation. Winfred’s background includes sales and sales management in midsized to large companies. He believes that any successful engagement starts with fully understanding the historical and current challenges of any organization including the market factors where the company works and competes. Winfred believes successful outcomes happen not by accident, but by an extensive evaluation of all factors and a consultative approach with his clients.
Winfred is an analytical thinker and relies on data driven principles to make decisions. His ability to understand industry trends is invaluable to his clients in designing benefits plans that encourage employee productivity and happiness while driving down cost for employers.
Stephanie Kirksey, Partner
Stephanie has more than seventeen years of client management, sales and consulting experience. She has worked extensively providing advice to help healthcare practitioners and, business owner’s process large amounts of information that leads to a better business process, business outcomes and strategy development. She has used her background to also assist her current clients in mitigating costs, protecting assets and benefit plan design strategy to help them to provide their business with successful outcomes that include better productivity and an enriched professional environment, for both employers and employees.
Stephanie has extensive expertise in providing access to essentially all insurance, administrative and insight on how to provide quality healthcare solutions. She has successfully helped clients make better decisions, assisted with various plan implementation providing action-based solutions to solve their issues and provided education about the growing and important area of Healthcare and employee benefits.
Michelle Gerlach, Office Manager
Michelle has over four years of customer and account management experience. Her main roles include social media management and client management. She helps ensure the day-to-day office operations run smoothly and is the first point of contact with KB Squared clients. With these skills Michelle helps provide a great customer experience to all of our partners here at KB Squared.
George Braxton, Senior VP of Cultural Management Consulting
Areas of expertise: Diversity and Inclusion, Talent Acquisition, Change Management, Leadership Coaching, Board Governance,
George P. Braxton is the Special Advisor for Diversity and Inclusion for the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA). As the chief diversity officer for the agency, Mr. Braxton leads the office which implements the agency’s Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Plan and assist DCMA in developing an inclusive culture where its diversity is leveraged to produce the best possible results.
Prior to this position, Mr. Braxton served as Diversity Coordinator and Assistant Professor at Old Dominion University and Director of Recruiting and Diversity at the LeClair Ryan law firm. He has been retained as a consultant and offered diversity and inclusion coaching for local governments and corporations.
Mr. Braxton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland-College Park and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and has earned the designation of Certified Diversity Executive through the Society for Diversity.
George Braxton's accomplished work and rich background in the fields of diversity and education make him the ideal thought leader to serve the cultural management needs of KB Squared clientele. His experience and insights help employers (large and small) maximize the potential of not only each of their employees but also of the entire team and culture of the organization.
Civically, Mr. Braxton has served in elected office and is currently the chairman of the board of directors of the Greater Richmond Transit Company. He lives in his native Richmond, VA with wife, Kelly, and sons, Miles (19) and Harris (6).
Steven Tippins, Chief Insight Officer
Steven Tippins, PhD, CEBS, CLU, ARM, RPA, CMS has over 35 years of experience in the fields of employee benefits and insurance. He has been a company benefits rep, a broker, and a teacher/writer in the benefits field. For over 25 years he taught undergraduate and MBA students various courses pertaining to employee benefits. Dr. Tippins was a board member of the Illinois FAIR plan for 12 years and the board of the Viroqua Food Coop for 7 years (A $7,000,000 organization that he was the President of for 2 years. His interest lies in helping firms understand and communicate the value of the benefits they offer to employees.
C. Jordan White, SPHR, Senior VP of Human Resources Consulting
C. Jordan White is a senior level human resources professional whose scope is a broad range of private, public, and governmental employment to include mastering various certifications. Her experiences range from consultation of small to medium size organizations to C-suite partnerships. She has provided human resource strategy and leadership in the banking, engineering, media, retail pharmacy, and wholesale travel industries.
Specializations include: talent acquisition/management; vendor management; change management, procurement and implementation of human resource information systems; worker’s compensation, benefits administration, union and non-union employee relations, diversity and inclusion, leadership training, contact center operational expertise aligned with business strategy and scorecard metrics; and policy harmonization to meet business requirements. Responsibilities have encompassed supporting staff in the states of AL, GA, FL, TX, OH, IL, WI, and territory of PR.
Ms. White earned a bachelor’s degree from Samford University, and executive management certificate from Northwestern University. She is currently certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a County mediator. Previously certified by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) with SPHR designation; and scheduled to receive SHRM SCP designation January 2016.
Jordan is a proud retired veteran whose experiences include: planning and operations, human resource management, and logistics while serving in Operation Enduring Freedom Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom. As youth literacy volunteer, she supports the “Test Our Kids” platform with an emphasis on males. She resides in Oviedo, FL with husband, Judge and they have one son, Jerald (22).
